My name is Nicole Mitchell and I’m 22 years old. I was born In Goldsboro NC but raised in Raleigh NC. I currently finished school for Cosmetology and do security work while also modeling. I’ve always had an interest in modeling ever since I was a little girl. As a child people use to always ask me if I was a model. I went on many auditions and casting calls growing up. I did have some people say that I wasn’t tall enough or small enough but I was still accepted and chosen for most auditions. Every time I was picked for something they always wanted money, so I was never able to continue with the process. I use to look at other models and think that because I didn’t look like them, a modeling career wouldn’t work out of me. It always seemed like whenever I was close to an opportunity, something always set me back or prevented me from getting to the next step. So I left modeling alone for a few years. I later met this photographer who always wanted to shoot with me but I would never get up with him because I felt like it was pointless. Around the age of 19 I finally gave in and did a shoot with him. Although I needed a lot of work, I was very surprised with the outcome of the pictures and very proud of myself. I really started to feel like I had a chance with a modeling career at that point. I later started doing a lot of research on all the different types of modeling and found out that I had many options. From there it picked up, but I still didn’t have all the knowledge on how things work or who to work with. So unfortunately I ended up running into a lot of situations that set me back. I’ve been trying to make a name for myself with modeling off and on for a while but I just started going hard with it these past 7 months or so. I’ve accomplished a good amount of things in a short period of time, but still have much more to go and much more to learn. My goal is to bring something new to the table, natural beauty as well as different talents along with modeling. I also sing, write, dance, act and host. I want to show people something different and something positive. Beauty definitely comes in different shades, shapes and sizes. I don’t want to stay in one box or one category. My goal is to conquer it all! So stay tuned and watch me work!!
