DJ 3 2 1

They say in order to succeed, it’s not what you know but who you know. When it comes to DJ 3-2-1, that’s not the case. Hard work, dedication, and consistency is 3-2-1′s recipe for success. Since he touched the turntables in 2001, 3-2-1 has went on to dj countless parties from VA,DC, MD, to Charlotte, to Charleston, WV, down to Charleston, SC. 3-2-1 is not just a party dj, he went on to release countless mixtapes. His most notable mixtape is Righteous Teachings with Lupe Fiasco, which gained DJ 3-2-1 a whole new fanbase and was his most downloaded mixtape with around 20k downloads.

Not the one to limit himself DJ 3-2-1 tackled his next goal, becoming a radio dj. 3-2-1 got his start in radio at Virginia State University’s radio station 91.3 WVST. He was on the air 6 days a week, hosting a morning show and a weekend hip hop show. After graduating from VSU, 3-2-1 landed an opportunity to be on air at 99.5 Jamz. Where he currently holds down the airwaves 6 days a week, 3-2-1 also still manages to drop mixtapes and dj parties ranging from teen events to family reunions and weddings.

DJ 3-2-1 is also a member of the Fleet DJs and is a syndicated mixer on Focus on the DJ which syndicates his mixes to all Sprint/Nextel, Verizon/Alltel, At&t, & U.S Cellular phones. All DJ 3-2-1 knows is hard work, dedication, and consistency. So maybe the phrase “it’s not what you know but who you know” should be changed to “it’s not who you know but what you know.”
