South Carolinas DJ Iceberg

DJ Iceberg’s DJ career started at the age of 16 in his hometown of Topeka,Kansas. It all started as just a love for music and wanting to have fun. While in high school people would want to throw parties but didn’t have anyone to DJ them. Due to the fact that DJ Iceberg was a music lover he had all the current and up to date music so he started doing people house parties,school dances, & community center parties.

Iceberg did those types of parties for about 2 or 3 years and quickly built a buzz around the city & state. Fraternities & Sororities started calling Iceberg to do parties for them in Lawrence, Kansas at the University Of Kansas. Icebergs name quickly spread around in Lawrence and started getting calls to do clubs and not just frat parties. From starting to DJ in 2000 all the way up until 2005 DJ Iceberg became one of the most popular DJ’s in North East Kansas. That lasted for a few years but in 2005 DJ Iceberg made a move to Columbia, South Carolina due to the amount of friends he was losing to death or prison. The move to South Carolina was all about living a better life and had nothing to do with being a DJ.

Once in South Carolina Iceberg took time away from DJing just to establish his life in a new place a thousand miles away from anybody he knew. It wasn’t until he met Monopoly a rap group from Columbia, SC that he went head first back into DJing. Since meeting Monopoly in 2008 Iceberg has became the groups official DJ and started two mixtapes series “Coldest In The Streetz” & “Coldest In The Sheetz” & DJ’d in numerous night clubs in the area & also still traveling back to Kansas to do parties in that area also. During this time period Iceberg has traveled to many places going to numerous DJ retreats and conventions and meeting and networking with countless big name artist and producers. In August of 2011 Iceberg became an official Fleet DJ which is one of his greatest accomplishments to date.
